Moral Guidance and Family Reunion
The segment opens with Ammey giving Maryam profound life advice, urging her to safeguard her dignity, virtue, and character. She warns her against the destructive path and moral corruption that Hajiya Sailuba attempts to introduce to her. When Ammey speaks of her own mortality, it deeply upsets Maryam, who wishes for them to grow old together.
Later, they visit Ammey’s older sister, Hajiya Shamsiyya (Momma), where they receive a warm and emotional welcome. Maryam instantly bonds with her cousins, bringing joy to the household.
A Tragic Health Revelation
While the children are away, Ammey breaks down in tears in front of her sister. She reveals a closely guarded secret: she is suffering from a severe heart condition brought on by years of silent emotional torment over Maryam's difficult upbringing. Fearing her time is short, Ammey desperately begs Shamsiyya to protect and care for her children, especially Nassar, if she passes away.
Uncovering the Dark Magic
Back at the house, Muhammad (MD) spots Hajiya Sailuba acting suspiciously in the garden. Driven by intuition, he investigates the spot she was digging and unearths a malicious black magic charm involving dynamic elements meant to cause severe illness or madness. After performing prayers, he neutralizes and destroys the curse.
When Sailuba returns, MD subtly confronts her about what she left behind in the garden, causing her to fall into a state of absolute panic and fear that her secrets are unraveling.
Overheard Conspiracies & Marriage Plans
Meanwhile, Maryam accidentally overhears her mother, Sailuba, plotting malicious schemes over the phone with an accomplice to stop Maryam's upcoming marriage. Terrified by her mother's cruelty, Maryam flees in tears and seeks comfort from MD and Ammey, whose health continues to deteriorate under the stress.
In the village, Baffa visits Inna to finalize the marriage arrangements between Maryam and Muhammad. Inna insists on expediting the wedding to protect the couple, advising Baffa to keep the arrangements strictly hidden from Sailuba to prevent her from sabotaging their future.
